My own journey through education and sight loss has taught me how important supporting young people to develop confidence and resilience is which makes me passionate about supporting YMM in its mission to provide a non judgemental safe space for young people.
My most recent role as a volunteer co-ordinator for guide dogs has taught me the importance of raising awareness of a charity’s services to gain support from the local community. Having firsthand experience of navigating the challenges of growing up with a disability makes me so excited to support YMM deliver its vital work
