In my professional and personal life giving back and helping others is something important to me. Becoming a Trustee of YMM is a privilege and I am excited to work with a passionate and committed Board.
At University I saw the pressures and loneliness felt when joining but the impact of having activities and meeting people was great. I wanted to help and secured sponsorship for my sports society from a leading mental health charity to fundraise and raise awareness around campus. Finding YMM and hearing about the significant impact they made to young people in schools was something I really connected with. Hearing the wonderful stories and outcomes we achieve is something I know motivates myself and the other trustees to continue to deliver.
With a professional background in Accounting I want to bring my skills in finance, strategy and risk management to ensure the continued success of the Charity. Our plans for the future will aim to enhance our continued success in making an impact on young people.
