I believe young people are amazing and given the right support they can become all they were originally designed to be. This has been the driving passion of my work for over 2 decades.
I have had the joy and privilege of supporting young people at outdoor pursuit residential holidays. I spent 11 years supporting children and young people in a faith based setting as a youth pastor. As I witnessed the growth of children and young people, I had a design to be able to support their emotional wellbeing to the highest standard possible, so I spent 3 years training as a counsellor and then a further year specialising in children and young people’s counselling, and it has been my passion since.
I now manage a counselling service, run my own private counselling practice where I also work as a supervisor. I’m thrilled, excited and privileged to be able to support the fantastic work of Young Minds Matters through supervision with their mentors.
